Then the Duomo (internal visit) that was finished in 1436 and the façade was redone in neo-Gothic style hundreds of years later. After the Bell Tower (external visit) You’ll reach Piazza della Signoria , a beautiful example of medieval architecture, the L-shaped square is flanked by the Palazzo Vecchio on the east side and and the famous Loggia della Signoria on the south. At the corner of the Palazzo Vecchio You’ll find the Fountain of Neptune that was built by the architect Ammannati in 1575. By walking You’ll arrive on the Old Bridge, this symbol of the city of Florence offers beautiful views and thrives with shops selling leather goods, jewlery and other commodities. At the end You’ll visit inside the Basilica di Santa Croce (Basilica of the Holy Cross) where You can admire the final resting places of many notable Renaissance figures.

Florence offers many places to visit, but the distances from a monument to another permit to discover the centre by walk and you are able to enjoy better the small streets, the houses and the squares that keep intact the flavour of art and history.
