Covering a total surface area of about three thousand square metres, this building occupies a whole insula (block) and is certainly one of the largest and most sumptuous houses in Pompeii. Its entrance lies in Via della Fortuna. The residence is of Samnite origin and was built in the early 2nd century B.C. in place of an older construction. 500 g cooked tuna fillet
1/2 tsp ground pepper
1/2 tsp privet
1/2 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp rue
150 g dates (without stones)
1 tblsp honey
